Obama Wins Debate Big-Romney may have re-elected Obama last night.
President Obama won the 3rd and final debate, and did it in such a decisive manner that played to his Foreign Policy Credentials, at times it looked like Mitt Romney was Obama's own Secretary of State.
Clearly Mr. Romney's plan was to move fully back to the center and from the far right conservative part of his party. Romney's plan, running neck and neck with the President was to make no mistake, and come off as a reasonable thinking alternative to Mr. Obama, to almost run a Rose Garden strategy. However in making such a major error, Romney may have re-elected Obama last night.
Not only was Romney sweating on stage, he came off as a light-weight on Foreign policy. Someone who is willing to do anything, say anything to be elected with no core convictions. Romney whether he is aware or not, may have done much more harm to himself than good. Repeatedly throughout the night, the President said Romney was wrong. Gov. Romney did have a few good comeback lines when during one attack, Romney said to Mr. Obama, "attacking me is no agenda." Another good Romney line:
"We're four years closer to a nuclear Iran."
Bad debating advice to Mr. Romney last night, just like the President had bad advice for the first debate.
The final debate behind them, both men intend to embark on a final two-week whirlwind of campaigning. The president is slated to speak in six states during a two-day trip that begins Wednesday and includes a night aboard Air force One as it flies from Las Vegas to Tampa. Romney intends to visit two or three states a day.
Already four million ballots have been cast in early voting in more than two dozen states.
